We’ve all heard the analogies about how our path in life is anything but a straight line - it’s a zig zag, a winding road with detours, a choose-your-own-adventure book (but you can’t cheat by reading ahead!). The founders of Providence Adventure Camps became good friends when they were leaders at a local camp together, and after a round of wood-fired pizza and some earnest prayers their shared passion for group camping and discipleship had a brand new direction.

There’s so much to discover: our beautiful nation in an adventurous way; our friends and family in a deeper way; the Lord in a more profound way; and ourselves with a clearer perspective. And why not do all that in awe-inspiring locations, with hilarious and honorable people, and really GOOD food? Let’s PAC!

    With 20+ years of camping and adventuring experience, Devin’s passion for the outdoors and seeing young people’s lives changed runs deeper than the ruts of a muddy two-track. He started as a summer camper in 4th grade, and hasn’t missed a year since. He’s the president of the board of the summer camp that changed his life, and his eternity. Devin is the gear guru, has a passion to see young people know God personally, and he’s an undercover practical joker.

  • Executive Director & Founder

    Having led many different kinds of camps and organizations, Jonathan brings a vast history of leadership and programming. Regardless of the size of the camp group, Jonathan’s goal is the same: to create an environment where people can read Scriptures, ask questions, be themselves, and grow in their faith. He is a certified EMT, has a deep understanding of the scriptures, and never turns down pizza.

  • Founding Board Member

    Being the Director and camp pastor of one of the most unique and wonderful camps in the US brings out the best in the campers, and in Dave. He is well known for his tears as he preaches the Word of God to young hearts, his deep desire for all the campers to know and experience God for themselves through study of the Word, prayer, worship, and family, and for his hilarious stories. (His Hawaiian Bible translation is legendary!)
